Our boats are capable of traveling for 10 knots or just below 20 km/hr hour.

How long can I drive with full battery?

Depending of the speed between 5 and 11 hours. In the city - 5 km/hr around 11 hours. In an open water - 20 km/hr 5 hours. Average time is 8 hours of driving,

I live in Sweden, how can I buy Blixem?

We happily accept international orders. You can order Blixem via Internet.

Why should I buy an electric boat?

Because it is quiet (nice at night). No toxic fumes and disruptive noises associated with traditional gasoline engines. No exhaust gases (look at some days to the grey air above the canals). Easy to operate (always starts).

How is the maintenance of an electric boat?

An electric engine is much easier to maintain than a petrol engine, no spare parts, no winterizing your motor and changing the oil required. You just follow the procedures for the charging of the batteries.

At the factory or we can deliver Blixem to your home or port.

Can we customise the boat for our company?

Yes you can. We can paint your company name on the side or on the cover of the boat.

What kind of warranties does a Blixem come with?

All new Blixem boats come with the 1 year warranty.

What's the best way to charge a Blixem?

We recommend plugging in every evening to top off the battery. Normally 230 V (home or port connection).

If I want to store my Blixem during the winter time, will you provide it for me?

Yes. We can provide covered winter storage including winter check and shining up the boat.

How does an electric boat help me save money?

Going electric means forgoing the annoying and sometimes costly maintenance of traditional engines. The cost to fully charge an Blixem battery is between € 2,5, when to fossil fuel engines that can cost an average of €24 for a full tank of gasoline.
