The German company Sol Motors, a manufacturer of electric motors, can change the way we move in urban environments.

The electric minibike called Pocket Rocket is an aluminum frame that connects all the components of this unusual motorcycle with a minimalistic design. This revolutionary 2.5-foot-tall vehicle without pedals consists of a main center pipe that houses a battery, a computer, a headlight, as well as turn signals and a brake light. The speed with which the Pocket Rocket motorcycle can move is too high to call the device a moped, and the lack of pedals does not give it the right to be called a motorcycle. This is a new category of two-wheeled electric vehicle. Not surprisingly, the manufacturer calls his innovative electric motorcycle a completely new class of lightweight electric vehicles. Stuttgart's Sol Motors is locating its product somewhere between electric bikes and electric motorcycles.

The maximum speed of the nooped is 50-80 km / h depending on the model. Pocket Rocket and Pocket Rocket S motorcycle models can travel up to 80 km without recharging. It all depends on the selected mode: Eco, Sport or Drive Wheel. Driving Wheel mode seems to reveal the limit of a motorcycle by its maximum power, hence the name. The braking system is made in the form of a combination of hydraulic disc brakes and regenerative braking by means of a drive wheel motor. Large street tires and a double suspension should soften the ride and relieve stress due to the rather minimalistic seating. Like many new electric bikes and scooters, Pocket Rocket will provide the ability to connect to Android or iOS applications. The biker phone will function as a dashboard. Currently, Pocket Rocket is still at its conceptual stage, so information on its cost and availability has not yet been disclosed. However, it is expected that the original model will cost about € 5,200, the “S” model - € 6,500.
